Digital marketing transformation: do things in order
As you can see in the infographic, the adventure of digital transformation is prepared like a great climb. At Merlin/Leonard, we call this parable “I love the mountain”. As with any high mountain climb, you must first take care of your preparation (choose the right equipment and make sure you are in the right physical condition) and then proceed in stages (don’t parachute onto Annapurna in flip-flops and without a guide!).
The long climb to digital maturity
Be careful, this 6-step process is not a dogma (we are not dogmatic at Merlin/Leonard, though): it depends on your digital maturity! The path is not set in stone and can be adapted to all digital transformation projects… Yes, in reality, we know that everyone starts with what they know how to do (marketing automation, content strategy, buyer personas, etc.). Only, when we arrive to straighten the bar or to restart the machine, this is the program we recommend to avoid ending up in the ravine!
24 months… That may seem like a long time! But the digital transformation of your marketing is a demanding project, which requires full commitment. The key is to start on the right footing, to remain modest, to measure the results and… not to put the cart before the horse. Take a look at our infographic and tell us where you stand. Let’s talk about it later?
