1 – Documented<\/h2>\n

Control your data with good governance<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Data governance must be put in place (we must know who is the master of each piece of data);<\/li>\n
  • A data dictionary must exist across all business and IT organizations;<\/li>\n
  • A data mapping for each system integration;<\/li>\n
  • business rules that govern the data calculated, such as segmentation and consent….<\/li>\n
  • Implement a data quality culture: the first one to detect it will correct it<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    2 – Integrated<\/h2>\n

    Enter information only once<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • no one should have to re-enter the same data in two different systems;<\/li>\n
    • Integration must be in real time (or near real time) to avoid simultaneous data entry on both sides and loss of information;<\/li>\n
    • Build a Data Mapping to ensure that the right fields are associated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      3 – Automated and Enriched<\/h2>\n

      Get value-added data automatically<\/h3>\n
        \n
      • don’t ask your prospects or sales people to fill in data that you can deduce or fetch from outside, their time and attention is too precious for that;<\/li>\n
      • the enrichment and automation process must be documented;<\/li>\n
      • format the data correctly (capitalization \/ addresses \/ phone);<\/li>\n
      • track your acquisition sources;<\/li>\n
      • keep track of your status change dates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        4 – Just<\/h2>\n

        Measure your data quality<\/h3>\n
          \n
        • create a data quality indicator that mixes elements of information completeness, recency, accuracy and validity.
          \nthe data must be :<\/li>\n
        • homogeneous in the lists of values ;\n
            \n
          • correctly arranged in the right fields (phone in phone, country in country…) ;<\/li>\n
          • complete ;<\/li>\n
          • and recent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            5 – RGPD compliant<\/h2>\n

            Use your data serenely<\/h3>\n
              \n
            • ask yourself: “do I have the right to use this contact data?”; the answer must be provided by the data you have collected<\/li>\n
            • manage the right to information and the right to be forgotten;<\/li>\n
            • Collect consent by purpose and capture consent dates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
